We are hoping to build community and connections outside of Arkansas and will be looking for ideas from our MPP community. Do you have a heart for the Mamie's mission and would like to volunteer your special gifts and talents by helping us spread awareness and reach more families outside of Central Arkansas? If so, we would love to have you as one of our Mamie's Ambassadors. This is a brand new program that is evolving. Our goal is to have a Mamie's Ambassador in each state. If you are interested and want to know more, fill out this form and we will be in touch!

Meet our 2025 Mamie’s Ambassadors

  • Jourdan Cobb - Arkansas

My name is Jourdan Cobb! My husband, Micheal, and I have been married for ten years and we have two children. Our first-born, Evan Henard Cobb, was born in 2018, and then he passed away shortly after I delivered him. Our nurse made sure we were signed up to receive a Mamie's Poppy Plate; it immediately became one of our most treasured keepsakes, so getting involved with Mamie's was the natural progression -and  an integral part of our grief journey. I am so blessed to be able to be involved with an organization that provides so much comfort and conversation during a parent's worst moments.

  • Cortney Taylor - Arkansas

My name is Cortney Taylor, and I am a wife, mother, business owner, and advocate. Our journey with Mamie’s Poppy Plates began in February 2016, when we experienced the heartbreaking loss of our son, Kingston Nehemiah, at just 18 weeks. During such a difficult time, the memorial plate we received from Mamie’s brought us immeasurable comfort. The tiny footprints, along with Kingston’s name, birthdate, time of birth, inches, and weight, became a cherished keepsake that honors his memory. We are forever grateful for this beautiful token. Supporting Mamie’s Poppy Plates is an honor for us, as we understand the profound impact these plates have on families in need. Being able to contribute to their mission, offering comfort and support to others who are walking a similar path, is truly a blessing.

  • Christina Bryant - Illinois

Hi! I am Christina Bryant. I live near Chicago. We lost identical twin girls/ McKayla and McKenna April 12th, 2017. I had mono-mono twins (shared same sac and placenta). They had TTTS. I also did not know I was pregnant with twins till anatomy scan and they had recently passed. We are blessed with 3 other children, but will always have two pieces to our puzzle missing. I learned of Mamie's from a grief group, and so happy I did. It would be so nice to continue to spread the word and get more hospitals sponsored! I have loved Mamie's and their mission since I found out about them. I wish Mamie's was close as I would want to volunteer locally! Receiving our plates just is another reminder of our sweet babes! The volunteers are all so special with all the time and care they put into the plates!

  • Sarah Roeten - Texas

Hi, my name is Sarah and I live in Conroe, TX. We discovered Mamie’s Poppy Plates after losing our first baby in 2018. We later experienced a second loss in 2021. We now have two rainbow kids that we are blessed to have. We had the opportunity to volunteer at Mamie’s and know firsthand the love that goes into every plate that is made! I am thankful for this organization and happy to share Mamie’s mission with everyone!

  • Darian Stewart - Virginia
